Description
The Bendix King KGP 560 General Aviation-Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (GA-EGPWS) manufacturer’s part number is 965-1198-005. It includes a configuration module (P/N 700-1710-021) that is TSO'd and weighs 1.5 lbs. This small lightweight computer was designed and authorized for single and multi-engine piston aircraft and small turboprop aircraft that require a terrain warning / avoidance system. A Honeywell antenna splitter kit (P/N 050-03610-0003) is also provided.
This Bendix King / Honewell unit was removed from a Cirrus SR22 in June 2026 by a FAA Certified Part 145 repair station during an avionics upgrade. The unit was in working condition and no discrepancies were noted when it was removed.
